Major Indian cryptocurrency exchange CoinDCX has expanded its self-custody wallet, Okto, by integrating the Transak platform. This integration has increased the number of supported jurisdictions for the Okto wallet from 60 to 155 countries. Users can now buy cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin directly on Okto using various fiat currencies, including the U.S. dollar and the euro. Transak is the first on-ramp solution introduced on Okto, allowing users to seamlessly convert fiat to crypto within the app. Okto supports over 1,000 tokens across multiple chains, including Polygon, Fantom, and Avalanche, and can hold up to 3,000 tokens. This integration aims to enhance the user experience and accessibility of cryptocurrency trading for a global audience.
